A lover of documentary style photography, I find beauty in the minutiae. As a Chattanooga wedding photographer, I seek out the little moments that others might miss. I want to create images that conjure the true sentiment of the day, the way you felt when you saw the groom wipe away a tear, or the flower girl run a finger through the cake icing.

I paired up with local floral magician, Liza Greever of Fox and Fern Floral, to concept and style this whimsical and woodsy bridal shoot.

For the second shoot pictured, I worked with a local couple (gorgeous, right?), borrowed a fun retro motorcycle from Southern Honda Powersports, made a cake with my food blogger friend of A Calculated Whisk (linked above), and did a sort of rock-and-roll-inspired bridal shoot for fall. I’d love to flee town on that bike!

Visual interest peeks out from the strangest of places, and there are few things as captivating as the human face.

I don't want to pose you. I just want to hang out with you. Your family is beautiful with it's own dynamic, and that's something I seek to wrangle in the form of creative imagery. (Please bring your dog.)

Are you mad in love? I want to preserve that forever. Let's go for a walk or grab a beer, and create some images together that you can look back at when you're 87.

Sometimes I just snap photos of what’s going on around me, and this is a place for a few of those to land. Fire, ice, creatures, and silhouettes. Give me rivers and mountains, oceans and views, or give me death. (Didn’t mean to rhyme that, but also not mad about it.)

Some things just look so interesting, it’s as though they’re begging to be photographed. They call out in a whisper.
